Follow Highland Avenue (Hwy 126) west out of Redmond for 4 miles and look for the signs directing you to the viewpoint.  The park is on the left side of the road just before a bridge spanning the Deschutes River. On the banks of the Deschutes River, this recreation area is a haven for hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders and fishermen.  Areas along the river also provide ideal spots for an afternoon picnic.  Year-round.

An internationally renowned destination for rock climbing & several miles of developed hiking trails.  A walk-in Bivouac area serves campers who want to stay overnight.  No RVs and no open campfires allowed.

Riley Rd., Bend OR 97701 Tumalo State Park offers a quiet place to fish, explore or just relax on the Deschutes River.  Its location also makes it an excellent place to camp while enjoying Central Oregon’s surrounding scenic wonders and wealth of year-round recreation.
