RAPRD currently operates a variety of facilities, parks, trails and recreation areas in addition to hosting activities and programs at Redmond community parks and in partnership with the Redmond School District.

Cascade Swim Center (CSC), located on Rimrock Drive next to Redmond High School, is the community’s only public aquatic facility. This year-round facility offers a wide variety of aquatic activities, from aqua-aerobics to swim-lessons and beyond. The CSC facility also furnishes a spa, as well as seasonal wading pool and spray park for refreshing fun during Central Oregon’s hot summer months. In addition to their daily schedule of aquatic fitness and recreation activities, the CSC facility can be rented at reasonable rates for private pool parties.

The acre park area surrounding the Cascade Swim Center is the perfect place for a fun family picnic. Community members and visitors are welcome to enjoy the grounds, with sand volley ball, horse shoes and a basketball court, free of charge.

The RAPRD Activity Center, at its new location on Canal and Odem Medo, is a newly renovated sports, fitness and recreation center. The Activity Center offers the community a wide variety of exciting activities. A broad assortment of fitness equipment, a gymnasium with aerobics classes, racquetball court, children’s activities, on-site locker-room facilities and more are all available at the RAPRD Activity Center.

In addition to their two main facilities, RAPRD operates several open-air recreation sites, including the forty acre High Desert Sports Complex north-east of Redmond off Negus Way.
