Executive Director - Eric Sande
|
|
I started with the Redmond Chamber of Commerce & CVB in 1992 and became the Director in March of 1999. My educational background includes graduating from the University of Oregon in 1990 with a degree in Recreation Tourism Management; graduating from Chamber Institute for non-profit management from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA (Go Dawgs) and graduating from Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK.
Keeping our 800 plus ambitious, and somewhat rowdy, members in line is no easy task; and sometimes it's just best to let this group cut loose and have fun. In fact having fun is what is we do best! Our membership is a remarkable eclectic mix of the community and accomplishes what no other individual or organization can do alone. Hard work is made simple when we work together and the best part is we always have a great time in the process.
Other interests, well, I have never met a car I didn't like, from a 73 Pacer to a 37 Packard Super 8, all cars are works of art (of course some art might resemble a first-grade ceramic project). When I'm not polishing chrome or Ebaying for missing parts, I enjoy being outdoors soaking up Central Oregon.

Marketing Director - Heather Cassaro

As the Marketing Director of the Redmond Chamber of Commerce & CVB it is my distinct priviledge to share my passion for Redmond with you. Capturing the scenic beauty of our high desert retreat is an endless pursuit, and a highlight of my tenure when combined with promoting the residents and businesses who make it a true 'community'.
Inspired by those who ask the question 'Why Redmond...?' For it challenges me to continually create the highest quality and relevant collateral materials possible, envoking the better question, 'Why not Redmond?'

If you're interested in increasing your visibility, networking with like-minded local businesses and becoming part of the community, give me a call.

Visitor Center & Administrative Assistant - Michelle Horinek
|
|
As the Administrative Assistant and the Visitor Center Front Desk I enjoy answering questions and directing newcomers around town. Being newer to Redmond myself, I love sending out our awesome packages to prospective new citizens and tourists because I am continuing to learn everyday about our great city and all that it offers! It's amazing the variety of ways you can spend a day here, I would love to tell you about them all.
When I'm not at work you may have a tough time finding me, because I just don't like to sit still. I would recommend checking the hiking trails where I would be walking my dog, the ongoing project in my boyfriend's and my backyard, or any friend's backyard where we would be hanging out. After looking there maybe check for me inside working on a floorplan or some new design, or checking out home magazines at the local book stores. Where ever it may be I would be happy to see you!
