For a glimpse of Redmond live music options for 2017 — an extensive list but certainly not comprehensive — consider the following resources:

Music on the Green

Music on the Green is Central Oregon's longest-running free summer music concert series. Started by the Redmond Chamber of Commerce & CVB, the first events were attended by dozens of people. Today, however, well over 1,000 concert-goers attend on a bi-weekly basis Wednesdays during the summer — community wide events that feature free music, food, arts and craft vendors and much more!

Music on the Green's 2017 summer season will begin on Wednesday, June 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and run every other Wednesday through Wed., Sept. 6, when the Hokulea Dancers will close out the season with their tradition showing of Hawaiian dancing and drumming. Pack your lawn chairs and every member of your family, and we'll see you at Music on the Green!

Deschutes County Fair & Rodeo

Offers free big-ticket concert admission at the First Interstate Bank Center for August fair goers.

Music in the Canyon

A free summer concert series at American Legion Park featuring music every other Wednesday evening.

Redmond Community Concert Association

Redmond comes alive each year with world-renowned entertainment, thanks to the outstanding dedication and efforts of the Redmond Community Concert Association (RCCA). Now in their 33rd season, RCCA is an important part of the arts and cultural scene, bringing celebrated performances and music to Redmond and all of Central Oregon.

RCCA’s mission is to bring quality live entertainment at an affordable cost to the Central Oregon audience and to provide artistic outreach to students in the Redmond School District. To carry out their mission, the association draws performers from around the globe that appeal to a wide range of interests and tastes. Contemporary song stylings, such as, theatrical pop, folk, classical piano, Irish harmonies, and gypsy jazz guitar are just some of the styles that will be on display during the 2017-18 season.

All RCCA concerts are held in the state-of-the-art Raven Theater for Performing Arts at Ridgeview High School — regarded as the most technologically advanced and acoustically sound theater and concert hall east of the Cascades. The all-volunteer board of directors, with the generous support of countless volunteers and sponsors, ensures RCCA presents five outstanding programs per season and enriches the community through this infusion of art and culture.

Recognizing that most music programs have been cut from the public school curriculums, RCCA brings the performances to youths in the community. RCCA’s Outreach Program connects with the Redmond schools, providing music enrichment opportunities on Mondays following most concerts.

The Redmond Community Concert Association’s tickets are sold by the season. All-event tickets are $60 for adults, $25 for students under 18, and $125 for families with children. RCCA will open its 2017-18 subscription campaign in April.
