“Refreshing,” is the best description of an outdoor experience in Redmond. Whether you are kayaking, wakeboarding at Suttle Lake or stand-up paddle boarding on the Deschutes River, letting the outdoors work its magic on you is what nature is all about.

Recreation in Redmond is a 24 hour, 365 day, ever-changing experience. From March to May, temperatures range from highs of 65° to lows of 25°. From June to August you can expect an average high of 85° to an average low of 42°. With over 320 days of sunshine, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the great outdoors. Whether it’s spring, summer, winter, or fall, there is something to do year-round in Redmond.

Please don’t let age or mobility hold you back. Many of our lakes and trails are ADA accessible. The great outdoors can and should be experienced by all ages and abilities from the hardcore enthusiast to those approaching the century mark. When was the last time your grandfather went for a personal watercraft ride? Getting the smile off his face might just take a lifetime. In either case it will be an experience you will not soon forget.

Additionally, Central Oregon has a number of local tour operators who will arrange everything to provide you with an epic experience.
