Caregiving is a major public health issue in the US. More than 17 million family and friends provide unpaid care to older adults. Join Dr. Richard Schulz and the Frontiers in Science lecture series to review the nature of the caregiving experience, how it has changed over time, it’s impact on family/friends, and strategies for mitigating the negative health effects of caregiving on both caregivers and their care recipients. The Sisters Science Club social hour begins at 6:00 p.m. and the lecture starts at 7:00 p.m. Adults $5 at the door; teachers and students free.
