This year will mark the ninth annual Live Drive-Thru Nativity presented as a free gift to the community by the congregants of Powell Butte Christian Church. Over eighty participants construct, paint, and prepare six unique scenes depicting the Christmas story following the travels of Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem, where Mary gave birth to Jesus. The community is invited to drive through the scenes any time between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., staying warm in their vehicles as they see the live actors and animals in tableau.
