Pack the car up or head to the airport and catch a direct flight into the Redmond Airport from most major cities on the West Coast: Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and San Diego,

Getting here is the easy part. Plan a road trip to Central Oregon where the scenery and side trips can be an adventure all on their own. If you choose to drive into Redmond via Hwy 97 from the North or South or Hwy 126 from the East or West, they are both some of the most scenic routes in the state of Oregon. Redmond is only 2.5 hours from Portland, Oregon and only 3 hours from the California border. 

GET HERE BY PLANE

Flying into Redmond’s Municipal Airport (Roberts Field – RDM), Central Oregon’s only commercial airport, ensures that you arrive conveniently within Redmond’s city limits, approximately two miles from Redmond’s core. Located on the southeastern edge of Redmond’s city limits, the airport is approximately 16 miles north of Bend, 20 miles east of Sisters, 24 miles west of Prineville and 27 miles south of Madras. Its strategic location in the center of the region’s natural beauty and recreation mecca makes RDM the perfect starting point for your Central Oregon adventure.

The Redmond Municipal Airport (Roberts Field – RDM) is the aviation gateway to Central Oregon. Owned and operated by the City of Redmond, the airport offers a full range of general and commercial aviation services. The newly expanded and state-of-the-art terminal facility provides visitors to Central and Eastern Oregon with a welcoming and affordable commercial air service experience.

AIRLINES WITH DIRECT FLIGHTS INTO RDM

Redmond Municipal Airport is served by the current air carriers; Aha Airlines, Alaska Air, Avelo Airlines, American Airlines, Boutique Airlines, Delta Airlines, and United. Daily direct flights to Burbank, Denver, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Phoenix-Mesa, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and Seattle are available at RDM. Delta, United and United Express flights are handled by Delta Global Services. Alaska Air is handled by Horizon Air. With over two dozen daily flights operating out of Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM), affordable parking and short lines, visitors and residents are encouraged to experience the convenience of traveling in and out of Redmond’s world-class terminal.
