ITINERARY: TEST YOUR SKILL ON THE GOLF COURSE
You’ll find gorgeous mountain views on every golf course in Central Oregon, but each course has a unique personality. Here’s a few ways to get to know the distinct flavors.
Bring the whole family to Eagle Crest where you have access to three championship courses as well as an 18-hole putting course. The Ridge Golf Course, known as a “driver’s dream,” allows you to swing away on its ample landing areas on the front nine, while The Resort Golf Course will push you on accuracy — both courses offer distinct nines, however. Or you can test your skill at The Challenge Golf Course, Eagle Crest’s renowned short course. Enjoy breakfast at the Aerie Cafe or The Silverleaf Cafe before your first round. When you’re finished, try lunch at The Greenside Cafe and dinner at Niblick and Greene’s.
If you’re wanting to stay closer to the breweries and restaurants downtown, then try one of our hotels or Airbnb houses. You can challenge yourself with what Oregon Golf Association dubbed “the most interesting hole in Oregon” at the Crooked River Ranch Golf Course, the “Gem of Central Oregon.”
Or enjoy Juniper Golf Course, our very own municipal course, which is highly ranked in the area according to Golf Advisor, and features a fantastic restaurant.
Enjoy a delicious tower of pancakes or a breakfast sandwich at One Street Down before heading out. And you’ll love dinner at Becerras on 6th, or Carnaval Mexican Grill.
