DATE NIGHT IDEAS IN REDMOND, OREGON FOR VALENTINE'S DAY
January 14th, 2020

Since Cupid's favorite day is near, here are some Redmond date ideas:

1. Relaxers: Lounge over a crafted cocktail at the glass encased section of the Rooftop Bar at SCP Redmond, then get a table for two at Carnaval and head to Herringbone Bookstore to get two copies of a book to read & discuss together.

2. Adventurers: Wake up, drive thru Honey and Pine Coffee Co. for hot drinks & doughnuts then head to Cline Falls to hike to see the frosty falls. Next get fat tire bikes from Trinity Bikes for Maston or Juniper Trailhead by Eagle Crest together.

3. History Lovers: Visit the Historic Redmond Train Depot, grab a cup of coffee from Redmond Coffee Co. located inside the depot and peruse the historic Redmond depot displays. Take a Heritage Walk brochure and walk or bike the historical walking tour of Redmond. End at Grace and Hammer's to eat stone-baked pizza inside this fabulous spot listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

4. Art Lovers: Drive to Eagle Crest's Alfred Dozal Gallery to see locally made art. Next take an RCAPP brochure to see Redmond Committee for Art in Public Place's art throughout the city. End at Kobold brewery to get local brewed beer and Westside Tacos to eat as you look at their new monthly art on the walls.

5. Cuddlers: Get a bag of specialty gourmet popcorn from Sweet Oasis and a growler of Porter Brewing Beer to bring home then order-in via DoorDash from Oishi's sushi. Pop in your favorite movie, get cozy blankets, grab extra logs for your fireplace and enjoy while munching on popcorn and cuddling up close together on the couch.

6. Family Friendly: Take & Bake Papa Murphy's pizza is sure to please, order online and pick up on your way home. Start a puzzle together while the pizza bakes, then after dinner, bundle up and go to the Redmond Ice Skating Rink (family pass is $15) to skate together. End the evening with hot cocoa from Dutch Bros and each family member sharing their favorite 2019 holiday memory.

7. Solo: Spending Valentine’s Day solo this year? This is the perfect day to treat yo’ self and fall in love with YOU all over again. Dine in at the new delectable fine-dining French bistro, Beccera’s to experience a gorgeous atmosphere that’s sure to please. Afterwards, walk a few blocks to pick out a delicious gourmet cupcake to eat now or save for later from Ida’s Cupcake Cafe in their new downtown location. Then put on your hiking boots and head to Smith Rock for a hike around this stunning rock formation just ten minutes outside of Redmond. End the night with a mani/pedi at your favorite salon, because you deserve pampering after a big hike.

8. Just the two of us: Looking for a date night without the kiddos? Call up your babysitter or better yet take the kids over to Dandelion Art Center for a treat, where the kids can create cool art and memories instead of staring at a screen. This will give you and yours a chance to head out to Gompers Distillery for a swanky, handcrafted Gin or vodka cocktail made with their Redmond-made spirits. Next grab a bite at General Duffy’s where you can play a game of Corn Hole or sit in a cozy spot by the outdoor fire pits and look at the stars. After getting your grub head over to LoveBird yoga for a relaxing yoga session together to clear your mind. Lastly pick up the kids to share a milkshake from the Sno-Cap Diner to end the night all together.
