ATTRACTIONS & ENTERTAINMENT
IN REDMOND OREGON

FROM MOVIES TO LIVE MUSIC, BE ENTERTAINED IN REDMOND

We think you’ll have a lot to love around Redmond. The mountain views and desert terrain help chill us out. When it’s time to cut loose, downtown serves up good options.

MOVIE TIME AT A HISTORIC THEATER

A day on the trails or slopes calls for something chill. The solution for us in Redmond is often catching a flick with friends. For a historic, cinematic experience we love going for a bite and a movie at the Odem Theatre.

Acquired in 1929 by Milton and Fossie Odem, it ran until the 1970s. It was resurrected in 2018 with two 40-set theatres showing first-run movies and serving up tasty food and beverages. With the historic touches and firepit outside for a pre-show hang, everyone feels like a local when they’re at the Odem.

REDMOND STADIUM CINEMAS

We also love Redmond Stadium Cinemas for first-run shows. We love a classic movie night with popcorn and soda… or maybe kombucha. (We may be at the movies but it’s still Central Oregon). As destiny would have it, the Redmond Stadium Cinemas were actually built on the site of the 1950s Odem-Medo Drive-in Theatre, also owned by Milton Odem.

ROCK OUT IN REDMOND

When the mountains and rivers aren’t fueling our soul, we have our ears to the ground for good music. We’ve got a few recommendations – for young, old, meek or bold.

The High Desert Music Hall is a 9,000 square foot converted church with a tattoo parlor downstairs. Its eclectic Redmond vibe welcomes music of all kinds from jazz to punk and DJs to bluegrass. Depending on the night, High Desert Music Hall may be offering art of any kind including visual art, dance and comedy. There is also a separate lounge with food so you can recharge between sets.

We love General Duffy’s Waterhole for a lively night of music. This indoor/outdoor venue has three stages to host music year-round. Catch a future Country legend or treasured Americana group. Hunker down with friends and listen to a beloved local Beatles cover band. Plus, we never get tired of the 20 rotating beers on tap.

For music with a mountain view, we recommend Faith Hope and Charity Vineyards. With delicious wine to sip overlooking a vineyard and the Cascade Mountains, all your senses are in for a treat. Get cozy in the tasting room with a bluegrass trio. In the summer, enjoy an outdoor concert featuring local and national talent. There is music every week at the vineyard.
